Yes. This is a WordPress Plugin that can only be used through a wordpress installation. Don’t worry though! WordPress is easy. We provide you with a full course on how to use it.

4) How are SMS Messages Sent?
The messages are sent through Twilio.com’s API. Twilio is a fantastic SMS and Voice service that focuses on high deliverability rates, great customer service, and more!

5) What Countries Does this Plugin work with?
Since we only use Twilio at the moment, you can view their SMS availiablity at http://www.twilio.com/help/faq/phone­numbers/which­countries­does­twilio­have­phone­numbers­in­and­what­are­their­capabilities. Right now, its United Kingdom, United States, and Canada. As upgrades happen, will likely add countries to this list using other API options.

6) Do I get upgrades?

Definitely. There is a feature that allows you to print a PDF of the QR codes and unique codes. Once printed, you can cut them out and paste them anywhere.

13) Using Twilio.com, is there any cost for sending out SMS with this plugin? Do we have to take a subscription for Twilio.com?
Yes. Twilio along with the other SMS Gateway apis that we plan to integrate have their own individual costs to send SMS messages. This cost allows them to guarantee that the SMS Messages get to where they were sent to. Twilio starts at 1 cent per SMS but has a high delivery rate. If you send a bulk amount of SMS messages per month, this rate goes down. I always advise that if you’re providing a service to your clients, that you make sure to charge them that
amount or more per SMS Message.

14) If we need to send an SMS to UK, Singapore, etc, how can that be enabled? Is there a cost?
Twilio has a security feature that requires you to verify that you would like to send a message out of the country. All you have to do is ask support to open that up and BOOM!, international communications. No, there is no cost. However, the user needs to keep in mind Twilio’s costs to send the send message in that country. They can check the pricing via Twilio’s pricing page. We do plan to integrate other SMS Gateways that allow you to send SMS messages in other countries for a cheaper rate. Thus, giving the user more options.

15) How do subscribers sign up for your list with the SMS Point System?
Subscribers can join the list by scanning the unique QR codes or sending a text with the unique codes.

16) Can I customize the confirmation message that a subscriber receives?
Yes. You can customize this in the settings area of the plugin.
